No-Logs Policy
Last updated: June 15, 2026
VeilTun’s no-logs policy is simple and absolute: we never record, store, or share your VPN activity. This page explains exactly what we mean.
What we NEVER log
The following data is never collected, stored, or accessible to us:
VPN Traffic & Content
The content of any data you send or receive through the VPN is never inspected, stored, or analysed.
DNS Queries
DNS lookups you make while connected are resolved through our encrypted resolvers and are never logged.
Originating IP Address
We do not record the IP address you connect from. Once you disconnect, there is no trace of your real IP on our servers.
Connection Timestamps
We do not record when you connected, when you disconnected, or how long your session lasted.
Bandwidth Per User
We collect aggregated server-level bandwidth for capacity planning, but never per-user bandwidth data.
Browsing History
Websites you visit, apps you use, and services you access through the VPN are never tracked.
Technical implementation
VeilTun uses WireGuard. Unlike legacy VPN protocols, WireGuard is designed for minimal attack surface. Our servers are configured to:
- Not write any connection logs to disk
- Rotate WireGuard peer keys on subscription renewal
- Remove peer entries promptly on account deletion or subscription expiry
- Run on ephemeral server configurations where possible
What minimal data we do process
To provide the subscription service, we process: your account email (for login), subscription status from RevenueCat (anonymized identifier), and anonymized crash reports. None of this is tied to your VPN activity.
Legal requests
Because we do not log user activity, we have nothing meaningful to provide in response to legal requests regarding VPN usage. We will always notify users of requests we receive, unless prohibited by law. Our transparency report is published at veiltun.online/transparency.
Independent verification
We intend to commission an independent third-party audit of our no-logs claims. The audit report will be published publicly upon completion. (Planned: H2 2026.)
